Former Shrewsbury Town Academy Manager Eric Ramsay has been appointed as first-team Head Coach at West Bromwich Albion.
Ramsay was in post as Academy Manager at the Shropshire club between 2017 and 2018 and attended LFE’s Erasmus+ coaches’ trip in 2017.
He then moved up to the first team for the 2018/19 campaign, working as Sam Ricketts’ assistant. He has since enjoyed spells in various coaching roles at Chelsea, Manchester United, the Wales national team, and most recently as manager of Minnesota in MLS.
