Bolton Wanderers launched their ‘Academy Legacy Programme’ at the beginning of May, an event in which the club rewarded those who had signed their first professional contracts with a cap to mark the special milestone.
Nine youngsters penned professional terms at the end of last season, a record high for one cohort at the club.
Daeshon Lawrence, Jamie Grayson, Harley Irwin, Oliver Smith, David Abimbola, Harrison Rice, Conor Lewis, Harry Leigh, and Emile Oliver all received recognition at the inaugural ‘Academy Legacy Programme’ event after putting pen-to-paper on their new deals.
A further 12 former apprentices who had turned professional with the club in the last four years were awarded caps at the event.
