Shoot to Score

Shoot to Score is a media skills training initiative designed to help players who want to enter the film/media industry, providing training pathways to further education and allowing for necessary career experience through that training.

Training covers areas such as:

• editing
• camera work
• lighting and sound
• script writing
• documentary writing/content planning
• directing
• producing

The training is provided via short and long course offerings, as well as online learning. Offerings range from one-day introductory sessions up to full University degrees. As bespoke training providers, workshop sessions are tailored around specified requirements and can deliver sessions in-house.

Shoot to Score’s aim is to give students the necessary training and qualifications to allow for a smooth transition to a potential career in media.
